A succulent turkey breast dinner that warms the heart and fills the belly, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • Turkey Breast: 3-5 pounds (bone-in or boneless)
  • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1 tablespoon
  • Black Pepper: 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Onion Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Dried Thyme: 1 teaspoon
  • Dried Rosemary: 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken Broth: 1-2 cups (for moistness)
  • Vegetables: Carrots, potatoes, and onions for roasting
  • Fresh Herbs: Parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast.
  5. Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan, arranging chopped vegetables around it.
  6. Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
  7. Roast in the oven for about 90 to 120 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Let the turkey rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For lighter options, consider using a turkey breast with skin for crispy texture or opting for skinless for a healthier choice. Don’t skip the resting phase to ensure juicy meat.
