Instructions
- Start by gathering all your ingredients.
- Whisk together the buttermilk and hot sauce until well combined.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, dried thyme, and mustard powder to the buttermilk mixture.
- Place chicken pieces in a resealable bag or large container. Pour the marinade over the chicken.
- Refrigerate and let it marinate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your oven or grill for cooking.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
