- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 medium lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust for sweetness as desired)
- 4 cups cold water
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Start by cutting the watermelon into small, manageable cubes. Remove any seeds.
- Place the diced watermelon into a blender. Blend until smooth.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Slowly pour the watermelon puree into the pitcher with the lemon mixture. Stir gently.
- Add the cold water to the pitcher, filling it to your desired taste.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or acidity as needed.
- Chill your lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- When ready to serve, pour the lemonade over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices.
