Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for coating or mixing)
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed or chia seeds (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the creamy peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the rolled oats and ground flaxseed, mixing thoroughly.
  3. Sprinkle in the powdered sugar and a pinch of salt, mixing well.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls, about one inch in diameter.
  6. Refrigerate the balls for about 15 minutes to firm up.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider using almond flour instead of powdered sugar and gluten-free oats for sensitivities.
