Description

A rich and creamy Alfredo sauce that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any pasta dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: a pinch of nutmeg
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, being careful not to brown it.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously.
  4. Gradually whisk in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, adding nutmeg if desired.
  6. Toss with freshly cooked pasta or serve over grilled chicken or vegetables.

Notes

To enhance flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and avoid pre-packaged options. Adjust seasoning to your preference.
