Description

A vibrant and colorful fruit salad perfect for celebrating the fall season with fresh, seasonal fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium apple, diced (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • 1 medium pear, diced (Bartlett or Anjou)
  • 1 cup grapes, halved (red or green)
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup kiwi, diced
  • ½ cup cranberries (fresh or dried)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing all your fruits thoroughly.
  2. Peel the kiwi and apple, leaving the skin on the pear.
  3. Dice the apple, pear, and kiwi into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruits.
  5. Drizzle in the honey or maple syrup if desired.
  6. Squeeze the lemon juice over the top to prevent browning.
  7. Sprinkle the walnuts or pecans, and toss lightly.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For a nut-free option, substitute nuts with sunflower seeds.
