Description

A simple yet delicious side dish featuring crispy roasted potatoes infused with Lipton onion soup mix.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds golden yukon or red potatoes
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into even, 1-inch chunks.
  3. Combine the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle in the Lipton onion soup mix.
  4. Transfer the seasoned potatoes onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast the potatoes for 25 minutes, toss them, and then roast for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider using Greek yogurt instead of oil, or substitute with Greek yogurt for creaminess. For a vegan twist, ensure the onion mix is vegan-friendly.
