Description

A creamy and cheesy ravioli dish made effortlessly in a Crockpot, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by greasing your Crockpot with olive oil.
  2. Pour half of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the Crockpot.
  3. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the marinara sauce.
  4. Mix together the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Pour this creamy mixture over the ravioli layer, sprinkling on half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining marinara sauce, ravioli, and cheese.
  7. Cover the Crockpot and set it to low for about 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  8. Let the ravioli rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider using whole grain ravioli for added fiber or a plant-based cream alternative for a lighter dish.
