Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 2 cups cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup protein, cooked and diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon optional herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon optional spices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, and any optional spices or herbs.
  3. Layer the cubed bread at the bottom of a greased baking dish and press down gently.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped vegetables over the bread layer.
  5. Scatter the cooked and diced protein over the veggies.
  6. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the layered ingredients and press down with a spatula.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until set and cheese is bubbly.
