Ingredients

- 4–5 medium-sized fresh tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, tightly packed
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Optional: Diced bell pepper or corn
Instructions
- Start by washing all your fresh produce.
- Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the stems.
- Peel and roughly chop the garlic and red onion.
- Gather your blender and throw in the tomatoes, red onion, garlic, and jalapeño.
- Add the cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Taste the salsa and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Once your salsa is perfectly blended, transfer it to a bowl.
Notes
Salsa is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days.
