Description
Juicy and flavor-packed grilled boneless chicken thighs marinated to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for a spicy kick)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or cilantro)
Instructions
- Begin by preparing your marinade. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger (if using), black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix it all together until properly blended.
- Place the chicken thighs into a large resealable plastic bag or a container. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that every piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the container and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but ideally up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat – about 375°F to 400°F.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade. Shake off any excess while bringing it to the grill. Reserve the leftover marinade for basting, if desired.
- Place the chicken thighs on the grill, avoiding overcrowding.
- Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the grill for even cooking and perfect grill marks.
