Description

Ingredients

  • 1 round of Brie cheese (8–12 ounces)
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (cranberries or apricots)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme for garnish – optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the round of Brie in the center of the pastry and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts and dried fruit over the cheese.
  5. Fold the pastry around the cheese and seal the seams.
  6. Transfer the wrapped Brie onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs, and enjoy!
