  • Author: zenola-morgan
  • Total Time: 240 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Description

A fun, boozy twist on classic apple pie in a shot form—perfect for summer gatherings or festive occasions!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Apple Juice
  • ½ cup Cinnamon Applesauce
  • 2 packets (or 4 tablespoons) Gelatin
  • ½ cup Sugar (adjusted to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Pie Spice (or a mix of cinnamon and nutmeg)
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream Vodka (or sparkling apple cider for non-alcoholic)
  • Caramel Sauce (for drizzling)
  • Optional Garnishes: Fresh apple slices, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Combine the apple juice and sugar in a medium bowl. Microwave for about 30 seconds until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin over the warm apple juice mixture and stir gently. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to bloom.
  3. Whisk in the cinnamon applesauce and apple pie spice, then pour in the whipped cream vodka (or sparkling cider for non-alcoholic). Mix until fully combined.
  4. Ladle the mixture into shot glasses or a muffin tin for fun shapes. Ensure the serving cups are chilled to speed up the setting process.
  5. Place the filled cups into the fridge and allow them to set for at least 120-240 minutes, or until firm.
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving, and top with a fresh apple slice or whipped cream if desired.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy responsibly!

Notes

For vegetarian options, use plant-based gelatin. For lighter versions, replace regular apple juice with no-sugar-added varieties and consider using sugar substitutes.
