- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (like peas, carrots, and corn)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 teaspoon dried herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Toss in the frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. If using dried herbs, add those as well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the crushed buttery crackers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream or dairy-free cheese to make it vegan.
